Brunetti Oro is seeking a passionate and experienced Bar Supervisor / Head Barista to join our Flinders Lane team.

The right candidate will be team orientated, demonstrate a hands-on approach to customer service, and provide quality, effective, operational leadership to the team. 

Previous experience as a Supervisor and Head Barista is required, as is the ability to lead by example, develop and support team members, and build and maintain a productive, respectful and fun working environment and culture.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in the provision of effective operational leadership to achieve agreed revenue and business objectives
• Ensure service standards are met and high levels of customer satisfaction delivered
• Provide leadership, training, and support to team members identifying and nurturing talent for succession within the business
• Build and maintain productive working relationships with staff, fostering a respectful, productive, and collegial working environment and culture
• Adopt a hands-on approach to customer service, leading by example, and demonstrating initiative and ability to work within a fast-paced environment
• Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members
• Open and close the venue as per designated rosters
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience of managing a team, maintaining staff level according to budget 
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience of quality customer service
• Expertise operating Cimbali coffee machines, Pugpress, and Mazzer Robur S Electronic Grinder, including dialing in, troubleshooting issues and maintain high standard of coffee and drinks.

Brunetti Oro is seeking experienced Baristas to join our friendly, dedicated, expanding team. 

Serious about coffee, our Barista team receives accredited Barista training and ongoing mentorship from our coffee partners Lavazza, giving you a professional edge while working in a dynamic and professional environment. There are many learning and development opportunities available. 

You will be working directly with the Head Barista and Bar Manager to maintain a consistent, high-level quality coffee experience. You will also work closely alongside our Junior Barista staff and can possibly take on a mentoring role.

You should have a minimum of 1 years experience and have the ability to provide superior levels of customer service.

The successful applicant must:

• Be fast on the machine, yet not willing to compromise on quality (Barista)
• Be confident
• Be a strong communicator
• Work as part of a team
• Demonstrate superior levels of customer service
• Have knowledge of dialing in recipes
• Have experience adjusting brewing parameters
• Experience working with volumetrics is desirable
• We work with 2 La Cimbali 4 group M-100 machines and utilise a Juggler tap system
