- What inspired you to pursue a career as a logistics supervisor?
My inspiration to pursue a career as a logistics supervisor comes from my passion for organisation, efficiency, and problem-solving. Growing up, I was drawn to the challenges and ensuring that everything runs smoothly.
I thrive in environments that require attention to detail, teamwork, and adaptability, which are all essential in logistics. The opportunity to streamline processes and help reduce costs is motivating.
I wanted to make a tangible impact, ensuring that goods and services reach their destinations on time while optimizing operations for maximum efficiency.
- What do you love most about your job?
One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is fostering teamwork and efficiency. Seeing a team come together, communicating effectively, and executing tasks flawlessly is incredibly satisfying. I believe that when we work as one, we accomplish more, and we achieve it quicker and better.
The biggest satisfaction comes from making customers happy. Whether it’s ensuring on-time deliveries, resolving issues quickly, or exceeding expectations, knowing that our work directly impacts customer satisfaction makes everything worth it.
- What’s a piece of advice you’d give to young women who want to follow a similar path?
My piece of advice would be to be confident, stay adaptable and never be afraid to take charge.
- Can you share a moment at work that made you feel especially proud?
One defining moment…Christmas 2024! The largest panettone operation we have ever had. From production to distribution and working in a fast-paced nature to meet deadlines, and the satisfaction of seeing a well-executed plan come together. The feedback from both our stores and our customers is rewarding.

- What inspired you to pursue a career as a Senior Sous Chef?
Working in the kitchen is hard for any women to reach to the highest level. Men are always the one who leads the team. Despite of that I still believe that men and women are equals. Girls can do everything men can do. Men and women are both humans and born with almost the same organs to function. It gives me more challenge on how to become the best pastry chef I can be and be a good leader for my team.
- What do you love most about your job?
What I love with my job is teaching and sharing my knowledge that I gained throughout the years of experience. I always have this thought that all the knowledge and experiences I have will be for nothing if I don’t pass it on to the next generation. At the end of the day, we will not live forever but our legacy will.
- What’s a piece of advice you’d give to young women who want to follow a similar path?
To all the women who want to do the same path, I would say be patient, humble and keep your heads up. There is a lot of challenges in life, but we just keep moving forward. If you fall once, get up and keep going. Life is not made to be easy. You are the driver of your car; you have the control on which way you want to go. Technique and ability alone do not get you to the top, it is the willpower that is most important.
- Can you share a moment at work that made you feel especially proud?

- What inspired you to pursue a career as a coffee specialist?
My journey as a coffee specialist began with a profound passion for coffee culture and the art of brewing, deeply rooted in my upbringing in Vietnam. I had my first sip of coffee at the age of 12—a delightful mix of black coffee and condensed milk served over ice—and I was instantly captivated. This early experience sparked a lifelong love for coffee. My travels to coffee-growing regions, combined with exposure to Australia’s vibrant coffee culture, further fuelled my passion. I witnessed firsthand the dedication of farmers, the intricate process of coffee production, and the artistry involved in brewing. These experiences ignited my desire to share the story of coffee, from bean to cup, and to educate others about the nuances of flavour and brewing techniques. I am committed to fostering a deeper appreciation for this remarkable beverage and the rich culture surrounding it.
- What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is the opportunity to connect with people through coffee. Whether educating customers about different brewing methods or collaborating with baristas to create unique blends, each interaction allows me to share my passion for coffee. I also enjoy the constant learning and exploration—there’s always something new to discover, whether it’s a new origin, processing method, or brewing technique.
- What’s a piece of advice you’d give to young women who want to follow a similar path?
To young women aspiring to become coffee specialists, my advice is to embrace your curiosity and never stop learning. Attend workshops, participate in tastings, and seek mentorship from those in the industry. Building a network of fellow coffee enthusiasts can provide invaluable support and inspiration. Most importantly, trust your instincts and don’t hesitate to share your unique perspective in a field that thrives on diversity and creativity.
- Can you share a moment at work that made you feel especially proud?
A moment that made me particularly proud was when I led a coffee roasting, brewing, and tasting event that showcased various brewing methods using both single-origin and blended beans. Watching participants engage with the flavours and learn about the stories behind each coffee was incredibly rewarding. This experience served as a powerful reminder of the impact we can have in educating others and fostering a deeper appreciation for the craft of coffee.
- What does International Women’s Day mean to you?
International Women’s Day is significant for me as it highlights the achievements and contributions of women across all fields, including coffee. It’s a day to celebrate the women who have paved the way in the coffee industry and to recognise the challenges that still exist. For me, it’s a reminder to support and uplift one another, advocate for equality, and continue pushing for representation and recognition of women’s roles within the coffee community.
