A curated intimate space with a European feel. Just like an unassuming balcony in Roma,
overlooking the hustle bustle of the CBD, Brunetti Oro Swanston is a place to put time on
hold and enjoy ‘slow living’. As well as partake in the best of Italian coffee and cuisine

Brunswick
The Local Expression Soon after, Brunswick opens, which is a softer, more intimate
interpretation of Oro. Calm and neighbourhood-driven. Effortlessly welcoming. Here, the
rhythm slows. You come for your daily bread, your celebration cake and a quiet coffee.

Flinders Lane Opens
A new chapter begins at Flinders Lane. Brunetti steps into the heart of the city with a flagship
designed for a new generation — elevated, design-led, immersive. This is where the Evolution
of an Italian tradition starts.

Brunetti are approached by an eager investor and a franchised Brunetti store is opened in Dubai Mall, UAE.

Brunetti evolves. Oro was born, under the leadership of Yuri Angele. Two brothers with two
visions and one legacy divided.
Brunetti Classico remains in Carlton — rooted in tradition.
Brunetti Oro rises with the flagship at Flinders Lane — refined, modern, experiential.

After 20 years of carefully considered expansion, Brunetti outgrows the location on Faraday Street and moves around the corner back to its original home on Lygon Street.

Brunetti opens another store on level 3 of Myer Melbourne, Bourke Street, Melbourne CBD.

The Angele’s purchase a café on Faraday Street, Carlton called Brunetti.

20211956

Mr Angele accompanies the Italian Olympic team to Melbourne as the teams’ pastry chef for the Olympics. Following the Olympics Mr Angele took up Australia’s invitation to stay in the country, starting his new life.

At age 10, Giorgio Angele begins training as a pastry chef in Rome, Italy.
