June 16th is Cannoli Day and Brunetti Oro are throwing a week long party to celebrate.
From the Monday 10th till Sunday 16th of June, Melbourne’s iconic Italian pasticceria, Brunetti Oro, are throwing a week long Cannoli-infused event featuring limited-edition flavours – as chosen by the Brunetti Oro community – and free cannoli giveaways.
For one week only, lucky Melbournians will have the chance to get their hands on one of one hundred free mini cannoli each day. Starting daily from 10am, visitors to the flagship Flinders Lane store will need to be quick to snap up the special – which features a mix of cannoli flavours, including the classic Sicilian Ricotta, Cioccolato, Vaniglia and Hazelnut.
Three unique flavours – chosen by the public – will be also available in all Brunetti Oro cafe’s for the duration of the event, with a special tasting box featuring the limited-edition edition flavours available online and in-store.
To further mark the occasion, a giant cannoli tower has been constructed in the Flinders Lane store. Guests are invited to guess just how many cannoli it takes to make the installation – with the first to correctly guess winning an exclusive Cannoli Prize Pack.
“You really don’t get more Italian than cannoli, which is why we decided that Cannoli Day was the perfect opportunity to share in our proud heritage and give a little something back to the loyal Melbournians that have been enjoying sweets with us for the last 30 years” says Director and Owner, Yuri Angele.
Plus, savoury fans won’t be missing the action for this momentous event with the kitchen crafting a delightful savoury cannoli special, featuring a crispy savoury cannoli shell with your choice of mushroom cream, ragu bolognese or salmon mousse filling, available at Flinders Lane.
Long story short, Brunetti Oro is the place to be from the 10th – 16th of June.
